A Day in Pompeii Exhibit - a compelling exhibition, full of discovery and human drama. This is the premiere showing in the southeast of authentic artifacts from ancient Roman city, buried in AD79 by a catastrophic eruption of Vesuvius. Most poignant and dramatic are the body casts of the volcano’s victims frozen in their last moments. Objects such as frescos, jewelry, and household items take visitors back in time to experience life and death in Rome’s favorite vacation resort. Hear the sounds of Pompeii!
