Italian Style Buffet Meal is available in the Exploreum’s courtyard tent for $13.00 per person inclusive. Seating limited. Reservations must be made in advance.

Group Admission includes:

• Admission to the exhibition A Day in Pompeii
• Admission to all other Exploreum exhibit galleries, including science exhibits on volcanos.
• Free audio tour equipment for the Pompeii exhibit (two tours available; adult and family)
• Admission to the Exploreum’s IMAX Dome Theater to view the extraordinary film Greece: Secrets of the Past
• Admission to the Exploreum’s Virtual Journeys Digital Theater to view a 15- minute virtual tour of Pompeii’s Theater District – as it may have appeared before the city’s destruction.

Payment Policy
A 25% Deposit is required when contract is signed and returned to A Day in POMPEII Exhibit Group Sales Department No Later than date designated on your confirmation letter. Payment must be paid in full 30 days before the scheduled tour. No refunds will be made within 30 days of the scheduled tour. A cancellation fee of 10% will be charged if total reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to the tour date. The remainder of the deposit will be reimbursed. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, company check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard or VISA. No Exchanges on Group Tickets

Deadline for Final Number of Attendees
Advance notice of at least 30 days is required to confirm the final number of attendees.

Arrival / Check-in
Groups must arrive/check-in at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center 20 minutes prior to tour time.

Note no photographs or recordings allowed in the exhibition gallery.
The facility is wheelchair accessible.

Location and Motorcoach Access and Parking

• The exhibition is presented at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center, 65 Government Street in historic downtown Mobile, Alabama, at Exit 26B, Interstate 10.
• Motor coach and group drop-off and pick-up access at the Exploreum front entrance.
• Free motorcoach parking is offered nearby.
• An Exploreum exhibition host will greet all motorcoaches on arrival at the Exploreum entrance and provide information and assistance.

Open daily except closed Mardi Gras (Feb. 20) and Easter Sunday (Apr. 8)
Hours Monday to Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday 11:00am – 5:00pm.
Last exhibit and IMAX admission sold at 4:00pm, exhibit gallery closes at 5:30pm.
The last Virtual Journeys Digital show presented at 4:30pm.

Gift Shop
Be sure to allow plenty of time in your tour schedule to visit the Exploreum’s Gift Shops, which will offer for sale many unique items, books and collectibles.

Food Service
Light Lunches, quick snacks and refreshments may be purchased by individuals on site at the Exploreum’s Atrium Café.
Pre-planned group buffet meals are available for Lunch in the Exploreum’s Courtyard Tent ( see above) and must be reserved in advance.
